Log Pillows, Pincushions, Monsters and Etsy

For all those folks who were looking for one of my log pillows or pincushions at the Souk@SAT this December and weren't quick enough to pick one up, we're restocked at HQ, with some more on the way this weekend.

Tyson and I are also happy to let all you out-of-towners know that we've both set up Etsy shops, so you can now find many of the things that Tyson and I make and buy them right then and there through Etsy. All you need is a PayPal account and a credit card (really easy to set up, just go to www.paypal.com) and you're in business.

Here are the links to our stores:

You may be wondering"Why Norwegian Wood?"

You may also be thinking "I thought Angies line was called BLUEprint!?"

In fact you may also be pondering "why is she always putting words in my mouth, I was totally thinking about what to eat for lunch...."

Well, for various reasons I've decided it's time for a new chapter in "The Adventures of Angie's Small Clothing Lines", and since I'm 1/4 Norwegian (yes, that is my most pure bloodline, 25%, the rest is a crazy mash up, thanks grandpa), and it's one of my favorite Beatles songs, and I make a lot of stuff with retro-y or woodgrain fabric, well why not. This line will encompass not only clothing, but be more of an umbrella company for all the things I make. It will focus more on making what is really exciting to me, be it pillows, jewelry, dresses, whatever. Keeping it fun and creative.

So this is as close as I'm getting to a New Years resolution, changing my focus a bit and getting excited about this new direction.

If you're interested in learning more about Etsy in general (and you should be if you like handmade stuff, it's like the epicenter of all things handmade) check it out at www.etsy.com
