OK everyone, it's official, this new line of jewelry we are now carrying has the best ever company name...ever... in the history of the world. Seriously, HOW do you think of a name like "By the Beard of Zeus"!!??! We love it!
By the Beard of Zeus is based out of Seattle, Washington and was founded in April of 2006 by Kani Colipano, a girl with a great attitude and great taste in making fun jewelry with a bit of wit (example, the above necklace is named "The Shining").
The aim was to sell and create jewelry that was a little bit different and unique as well as affordable. We think she has achieved this and done it with a little panache as well. Necklaces are made from a range of vintage, new, and made objects, with new designs being created all the time, that's the fun of indie design folks!
I think these are the perfect pieces that add to an outfit but don't take over. Just a little fun something to give that new t-shirt or vintage blouse a bit of oomph.
We'll be getting quite a few pieces in from BTBOZ in the next week, so keep your eyes open!
